In Homeschooling, Realize What You've Already Done

I took that bit of advice from a post titled Kindergarten Homeschooling Curriculum by Darnell Guerra. In it the author suggests that not every kindergartner that's homeschooled needs to follow a curriculum. If your child is more hands-on, a curriculum which is typically workbook and worksheet based may not be the best fit for your child. You've brought the child this far in the skills that they've learned, so trust yourself in determining the best learning materials for him or her.

As for purchasing/acquiring used homeschool books, here are two sites.

Homeschool Discounts
A nice-sized list of websites that provide used homeschool books.

Homeschoolclassifieds.com
This site describes itself as "one of the largest sites on the web for buying and selling new and used homeschool materials, and for finding and announcing homeschool groups, activities, and events".

As always, to your homeschooling success.
